History
Having lived in Mexico for over 20 years, Brazilian Daniel Carvalho, deeply connected to the cultures and traditions of both countries, joined forces with Paulo César Egídio, a specialist in distilled beverages, from Minas Gerais, and together they decided to create a drink that celebrated the richness and diversity of Brazil and Mexico.
This is how Anauê Brasil Liqueur was born – a harmonious combination of traditional Doce de Leite from the farms of Minas Gerais and authentic 100% Agave Tequila from the Jalisco region, Mexico.
The name Anauê, a word of Tupi-Guarani indigenous origin that means ‘you are my brother’, symbolizes the spirit of unity, friendship and celebration between peoples and cultures.
The Jaguar, the brand’s symbol, represents strength, majesty and the connection with Brazil’s indigenous origins, while the Blue Agave, a plant native to Central America and the main raw material of Tequila, reflects the richness of Mexican culture.
